Tips For Making Babysitter Do Good Job

Babysitters takes care of your children safely and makes them happy while you are distant or off for a short time. Tips to keep baby safe and help your babysitter to do a pleasant job is:
  • Ask babysitters names and phone numbers of people (references) who have hired the babysitter earlier. Call these people and inquire what they liked and didn't like about this babysitter.
  • Interview the babysitter and consider person who is trustworthy, capable and comfortable with babies.
  • Allow the babysitter to do trial run for your baby while you are at home. You can watch how the sitter is taking care of your baby.
  • Describe your habitual activities and provide the sitter with information on baby's habits and preferences or favorites for eating, diapering, playing and sleeping.
  • Give babysitter complete instructions and also make sure the sitter is aware of how to deal with emergencies.
  • Tell the sitter how you can be reached. Give the sitter the name and phone number of a friend or relative to call if you can't be reached.
  • Give the phone number of the baby's doctor.
  • Show your complete house to sitter and inform if anything is abnormal.
  • Ensure that the babysitter realizes and follows all your safety rules for your baby.
