Automated Systems Improves Productivity

Automated systems improve the productivity of a process or work in any field. Here are few examples to show how automated systems help in increasing productivity.
  • Earlier when type writers were used to print documents there is no option for editing document once typed, the accuracy is also not good as it is operated manually and moreover it is time consuming. Now, Microsoft Office software has inbuilt automation tools to work on tiresome, time-consuming, and error-handling tasks very effectively. It is observed that 27 hours per week of manual labor work is done in 30 minutes of error-free automation.
  • Automated fax machine can send a single document to many locations at a time, which is not possible to do it manually. Moreover, if the receiver of fax is busy, the sender's fax machine checks the availability for every period and delivers fax in a very short span of time unlike manual delivery.
  • Automated camera has a wonderful feature of taking photographs with good clarity for every three seconds and records it simultaneously. Whereas manually operated cameras require time to set the view or else the quality of photos will not be good.
  • The traditional method of cooking rice involves many steps and constant monitoring. However, cooking rice in automated rice cooker involves very few steps and automatically turnoff when rice is completely cooked.
  • When the overhead tank is not fixed with sensor, then the water overflows when the tank is filled. The overhead tank with sensor, which is automate can sense the level of water and triggers back the water automatically when the tank is filled.
