Get Relieved From Sun Stroke Using Simple Tips

Because of continuous exposures to high temperatures, the heat regulating system of the body fails and this results in sunstroke. During this, the temperature of the body becomes high and the damage to the various organs occur. Due to the sunstroke several problems like vomiting, unconsciousness, weakness, dizziness etc., can occur.

So, in order to get relief from sun stroke, several home remedies are used. Let us see some of the home remedies that are helpful in preventing sunstroke.
  • First and foremost is drink plenty of water, which will help in reducing body temperature and dehydration.
  • The affected person should take rest in a cool place like air conditioned room.
  • Body temperature can be brought down by applying cold water or ice water.
  • Drink the juices which bring down the body temperature. Take the juices made of salt and sugar which will also give relief.
  • Wear light cotton clothes for preventing sunstroke. The dark clothes absorb more heat.
  • Sometimes onions are also used for giving relief. Consume the raw onion in the salad.
  • If the person is affected by sunstroke. Make the person drink buttermilk for about 2 -3 times a day.
  • Eat plenty of fruits to cool your body.
  • Keep an ice pack on the fore head of the patient which will also give some relief.
  • Dehydration is one of the main causes of sunstroke. So, it is better to take cool items like juices, fruits, water etc which will reduce dehydration.
  • Sometimes, cool herbal teas also gives some relief from headaches due to sunstroke.
These are some tips which can prevent sunstroke without consulting a doctor.
