Follow Yoga Diet to Get Healthy Skin for Your Wedding Day

Many a bride wants to look her best on the big day. And depending on her determination, she may even go to extreme levels to do so. Before you put major bucks on a juice cleanse, or put yourself on a deprivation diet, follow these tips and tricks on detoxing naturally before the wedding. Before knowing the tricks, first you understand how skin will be affected.



Skin is the largest organ in the body. It is also the first thing most people will notice about you and it is the layer that separates our insides from the outside. However the skin has various functions to do, serve and to make us sensitive to our immediate surroundings. The main things that impact skin health are toxins in the organs, unresolved emotions, genetics, drugs, alcohol, and eating habits. The liver and the colon can contribute to much of the toxins that show up in the skin. Most will immediately blame food for skin issues. To some extent it is also a correct but eating a yogic diet at correct levels will help you to get a healthy skin.

Yoga diet includes sattvik food according to yogic philosophy. Eat a healthy and nutritious diet. Yoga diet includes plenty of fresh dark green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, milk, sprouts, nuts, whole grain cereals etc. in your food. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables in raw form or take fruits and vegetables juices in raw form. Vegetable juices are a low calorie storehouse of nutrients. Eat a balanced diet and include a handful of nuts. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol and aerated drinks. Try to eat freshly cooked food as far as possible.
