There are many dangerous driving conditions in winter season in the country because of snow, sleet, ice. So, there is a need to follow some basic maintenance tasks to get safe driving in winter season.

Check tires: Tires should be checked in

Check your wipers of your vehicle in winter season. You can replace the wipers when they are streaking at the time of raining. Wipers are used to clean water, snow, steam on the front glass of the car.


Check the radiator system: You need to check whether radiator and heating systems are in working condition or not. Antifreeze level can be checked with an antifreeze tester.


Check your tank: It is better to fill the tank in winter season. Shortage of gas is dangerous in cold weather.


Learn winter driving:
You should learn driving on the ice, snow roads in winter season. If there is a bit of moisture on the road, the road will be slippery, especially on the bridges.


One should prepare for emergency: One should have emergency items in their car such as road maps, a spare tire, a flashlight, extra batteries, booster cables etc. You can have emergency kit with blankets, a first aid kit, windshield scraper, a tool kit for minor repairs, container of water.
