Different Choices of Plant Stands for Your Home

Different types of plant stands are generally preferred by gardeners to manage the garden plants and their height. They can be used both indoors as well as outdoors. They can be made of wood or metal. Various styles of wooden plant stands are made of teak and cedar. Metal stands offer greater support to the weighted plants. Even concrete and stone can be used for some single plants.
Plant stands can be in different designs. A plant stand trio having three individual stands is made of wood or metal in three different heights. Tall and long stemmed plants can be planted in such stands. Tiered plants with three to five tiers often are ideal for some indoor plants. They transform the look of a room or a dark corner of a room.
Generally plant stands can be grouped as standard, corner and pedestal types. Standard plants are the ideal and more commonly used plant stands that are found in different shapes and sizes. Certain standard metal stands are available in oval or round shapes having shelves with legs and even form curves down to the ground. Tiered standard plant stands are ideal for indoor as well as outdoor gardening. They can even be placed in your porch or balcony.
Corner stands often have three legs which are placed in corners of the rooms. They are mostly preferred for indoors and made of either wood or metal. These corner plant stands may be taller as they can get support from the corner walls. However, metal ones are considered to be more suitable for indoor planting.
The other model of plant stands is the pedal stands which are kept at porches or terraces. They are made of iron or steel. However, concrete or stone are also used for preparing them. Any size of plant can be kept in such pedestal stands. You can also use them indoors for a single plant and kept at a corner. Consider different choices of plant stands and ensure good décor for your outdoors or indoors.
