Now-a-days, this insurance fraud is major problem across the world and this fraud is being faced by the global insurance industry. Few good ways are there to deal with insurance frauds. Such as:

Consumer awareness: These consumer awareness drives are becoming more popular because insurance guide leaflets are distributed by them across a large volume of consumers. So by this, consumers know the different financial aspects which are associated with their policy. So, the insurance frauds can be detected and avoided by the customers. Customers also are offered several active fraud hot lines. Complaints can be registered by customers in that fraud hot lines.

Training Employees: Insurers are arranging a training program for their employees at the initial phase of the employment to satisfy the consumer's expectations. Now employees are empowered with a better training. So that they can handle all type of errors.


Fraud seizing units: There is a movement towards anti fraud such as the state government focused on developing different fraud seizing units. This units consists of the intelligence personnel and retired policemen.


Increasing the fraud bureaus: Insurance regulators have developed about 37 fraud bureaus across 45 states in the United States. These fraud bureaus try to reduce the insurance frauds by their large network.


Hunting down cheaters: Different researches are conducted by the National Insurance Crime Bureau and data is collected by it for alleged fraud incidents and it refers frauds while prosecuting. A National Consumer Fraud Hot line is conducts this. So that insurance companies will make use of this.


These are the strategies of the insurance fraud. This can be eliminated by these strategies slowly.
