Commonly Abused Steroids

Anabolic steroids are classified into two categories oral steroids and injectable steroids.

Oral Steroids:
Oral steroids are generally detected in the body many weeks after a person discontinues taking them. This is sufficient time to make them effective as medicines, but it has a short period of action when compared with the injectable steroids. Athletes generally test initially with oral anabolics. They are very comfortable to store and use, but produces serious side effects to liver apart from side effects caused by all anabolics. Generally, an athlete will continue using oral drugs even after he or she starts using injectable steroids.

Injectable steroids:
Injectable anabolics are substances, which are injected directly into muscle tissue instead of veins. They are gradually discharged from the muscles into the remaining parts of the body, and can be detectable for months after the last use. Chemically, the injectable steroids are more accepted by the body than the oral steroids. This is the reason why steroid abusers use them forever. Usually injection of any substance produces its own dangers and health problems.

The most commonly abusedhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif oral steroids are Anadrol (oxymetholone), Oxandrin (oxandrolone), Dianabol (methandrostenolone), Winstrol (stanozolol) and injectable steroids are Deca-Durabolin (nandrolone decanoate), Durabolin (nandrolone phenpropionate), Depo-Testosterone (testosterone cypionate), Equipoise (boldenone undecyclenate).
