Ban on K2 and Bath Salts in Indiana

K2, is a spice which smokes similar to marijuana, gives the same effect like marijuana, it even sells at prices similar to marijuana. It is easily available since it is legal. However, some states are imposing strict laws on its consumption and even planing to announce a ban on K2. Several new Indiana laws will come in to effect soon including a ban on legal drugs law enforcement, on which officers have been concerned about for a long time.
The officials from Indiana are saying that K2 or Spice, is similar to marijuana in the way it's used and in its effect. K2 had been legal in the State of Indiana. They are facing many problems on K2 possession and due to its legalization they are not able to do anything about it. They found large shipments coming in to the community but they don't have any right and correct tool to deal about it till now. But due to new laws subjecting the ban on K2, they feel happy about it.
The ban on K2 also includes the ban on compounds found in the drug known as bath salts and categorized as synthetic cannabinoid. They also added saying that the salts are not meant for relaxing in the bath tub but they cause a high similar effects like meth and cocaine.
Many number of people were admitting in to the hospitals due to K2 use. So, its the correct time and chance for the officials to take actions and enforce law the same way as they do for other drugs. Their main objective is to check the stores selling the substance when it was legal, since the store owners might be left with some stock and they try to sell it early.
Before going to check, the officials are planning to announce about the present law and make sure nothing was left with the major distributors.
Even though a number of people are trying to quit this harmful drug, the new laws make them more conscious since the penalties and punishments for K2 use were quite similar to that of marijuana.
